EOB, Royal Media School Boss, Describes Late Olubadan as Media-Friendly Monarch, Prays for His Soul’s Peaceful Repose

Tributes have continued to pour in for the late Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, having spent a year on the throne and passed away on Monday, 7th July 2025.
A media personality and the proprietor of Royal Sky Media Academy, Asiwaju Enitan Olusegun Bamidele has expressed deep shock while commending Olubadan’s life of service to humanity.
Speaking with journalists at his office in the Nigerwest area of Challenge Ibadan, EOB, as the anointed presenter is popularly known, described Oba Olakuleyin as a media-friendly monarch, stressing that people should not mourn the passage of the monarch but celebrate his life.
“He lived an impactful life throughout his 90-year life journey.”He added that “from his military career to business to politics and his ascension a year ago to the throne, Kabiyesi demonstrated exceptional qualities worthy of emulation by the younger ones.”
Meanwhile, EOB, however, disclosed that the fifth batch of the Royal Sky Media Academy has on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, commenced an examination that signals the completion of their studies that will qualify them for the award of Diploma in broadcast media.In the words of the proprietor, “The sky is not the limit; it is only the beginning.”
