NNL : Smart City Captain Hails Players Unity Over Beyond Limits Draw

Long serving and highly experienced captain of Smart City Fc of Lagos, Tunde Ajedokun, has attributed their well deserved away draw against Beyond Limits, in Ikenne, to team unity and resilient fighting spirit of the team; saying, they gave their all to get all three points, but are happy to still get a well deserved point from one of the most compact and formidable team in the NNL.
Tunde who led the team from the defense line, was highly pivotal in the game and full of praise for the entire team and the coaching crew for a job well crafted and exhibited in Ikenne.
“It was a good fight from us and a well deserved result for the team, we came with the mindset of grabbing all three points, but getting a point from Beyond Limits, is quite commendable too, so we take the positives from that away point and prepare well for our next game at home, against Sunshine fc, which is very important, ” he said.
“As we all know, the season is going to be long and tough, so getting points at this early stage is very important, because it will help the team at the crucial stages of the season, so we are taking every game as a final, because our sole aim, is to get a ticket to the NPFL at the end of the season, he added.
Smart city are currently fourth on the league table and will face Sunshine FC, this weekend at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos
