Pro-Wrestling Africa scribe, Olukoya honoured by Benin Republic Wrestling Federation

In appreciation of his efforts towards ensuring that professional wrestling is introduced not only in Benin Republic but the whole West African sub- region, the Benin Republic Professional Wrestling Federation (FEBECATCH) has presented a certificate of appreciation to the Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya.
The presentation which was done during the just concluded two day training for wrestlers in West Africa held in Cotonou, Benin Republic from November 16-17, 2024, members of the host Federation took turns to eulogize Olukoya whom they described as the shinning light of the sports not only in the sub-region but the entire African continent.
Presenting the certificate to him, President of FEBECATCH, Oke Ezechiel, commended him for his efforts at ensuring that his country is now counted amongst the nations in Africa where professional wrestling is practiced as well as his support for the maiden training programme in the country
The Federation boss, expressed optimism that with the support of Olukoya, their wrestlers will make their mark in the sports just as he promised that they’ll do all within their powers to ensure that the necessary equipments required for the sports such as wrestling ring is procured in no distant time.
In his remarks, Olukoya thanked the Federation for finding him worthy to be honoured noting that the recognition will spur him to do more for the development of the sports.
He promised that he’ll be always there for them to ensure their athletes master fully the technicalities of the sports.
