Rwanda Premier League And Prostar Announce Partnership For The Official RPL Match Ball
The Rwanda Premier League (RPL) has announced a landmark three-year partnership with ProStar Sports International, the renowned sports equipment manufacturer.
Through the agreement, ProStar Sports International will produce the official match ball to be used across all RPL fixtures for the period of three seasons.
Under this partnership, ProStar Sports International will provide high-performance, professionally engineered match balls that meet top-tier competitive standards. The statement noted that oroduction and distribution are already scheduled, and all RPL clubs will receive the official match balls free of charge starting in January 2026.
Speaking on the partnership, the RPL Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jules Karangwa, noted that the collaboration reflects the league’s ongoing commitment to professionalizing its operations and enhancing the overall quality of football in Rwanda.
“This agreement marks another significant step in elevating the Rwanda Premier League. Working with Pro Star ensures that our clubs will compete using a reliable, premium-quality match ball that meets international standards.”
He added that the league is pleased to welcome a dedicated partner in this area, as the partnership will raise the level of competition and improve the quality of equipment used across the league.
“This collaboration will help us standardize the match balls used in the league, ensuring greater quality and uniformity,” he said.
“This has been one of our key goals, and we are proud to have achieved it. We are delighted to have ProStar Sports International joining us in this effort.”
ProStar Sports International, known for equipping elite competitions across the continent, expressed enthusiasm about expanding into Rwanda.

The official RPL match ball will feature high-end performance technology and a design inspired by Rwanda’s vibrant identity.
It will debut on the pitch during the 2026 calendar year following distribution to all clubs.
