1X CUP 2025: Promise made, promise kept as teams and individuals get prize monies

It was excitement and untold happiness for the prize winners at the just concluded 2025 edition of the 1X Cup football championship.

Team winners including Ikorodu City FA, ISGAT Athletics and Dosu Joseph FA, who received N10million, N5million and N3million respectively, while the individual winners including the tournament top goal scorer Uche Emeribe, who won N300,000, as well as, Abdulahi Suleiman and Adewale Quadri, who also won N300,000 each as the best goalkeeper and most valuable players.

The awardees have been waxing lyrical about the promptness of the payment of the prize monies by 1X, sponsors and the organisers of the leading grassroots football championship in grassroots football.
