2025/2026 NNL Season : Osun United Will Fight To The End- Oriowo

Chairman of Osun United, Hon. Gbenga Ololade Oriowo said that despite the fact that the club is occupying second to the last position on the log, they’ll fight to the end and ensure they get promoted at the end of the season.

Osun United missed promotion by the whiskers last season and had some poor run during the first stanza of the 2025/2026 league season but Oriowo believes it was a temporary set back that will be corrected when the second stanza commences.

In an interview with our correspondent at the recently concluded NNL/NALCOMA Mid- Season Retreat at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, he declared that the club has identified their areas of weakness and will make corrections before the commencement of the second stanza of the league which he believes will be a different ball game.
” Our target has always been to gain promotion. You remember we narrowly missed promotion last season but we’ll definitely get it this time around.
” Although we are occupying the second to the last position in our group at the end of the first stanza, but we shall get it right in the second stanza and gather the maximum points needed to be promoted to the NPFL”, he concluded
