60 Hearty Cheers As African Wrestling Promoter, Olusesan Olukoya Joins The Sexagenarian Club

Celebrating the 60th birthday of Olusesan Olukoya is a landmark. He has been instrumental in the growth of professional wrestling in Nigeria, the African continent and around the world.
Olusesan has been involved in the African pro wrestling scenes for close to forty years since 1988.
He is the Secretary General of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), the body that serves as the mouth piece of the game in Africa and also represents the interest of the continent of Africa internationally.;
Olukoya also holds the position of Director of Publicity for the Nigeria Pro- Wrestling Federation (NPWF); the Executive Director at the Pro- Wrestling Afrik Promotions Ltd, a registered company promoting professional wrestling in Nigeria and beyond.
He is the Chief Operation Officer (COO) and a board member of the Golden Wrestling Federacy (GWF) based in Florida, the USA under the auspices of Dr. Jim McDowell, “the Golden Boy”.
This well travelled wrestling guru, is also the President of AIWF Africa which he achieved due to his extensive knowledge of the sport in Africa, as well as his countless contributions as a writer, promoter and executive; Olukoya is sometimes referred to as the African Wrestling Encyclopedia or Mr. African Pro-Wrestling.
Olusesan also has an extensive history covering and writing about Nigerian and African pro -wrestling, writing and producing his own publication, Wrestling Update, which was printed and sold for many years both in Nigeria and internationally.
Olusesan has done so much for African pro wrestling that it’s hard to capture it all into words.
He is an African pro- wrestling Promoter, manager, columnist, publisher, crusader and activist.
He has been propagating African pro wrestling for over three and a half decades and has visited almost all the African nations that have the semblance of professional wrestling likewise Europe, Asia and the USA.
Olukoya, is the African link to the pro-wrestling world. He took pro wrestling to Togo, Benin Republic and Ghana where the sport is well rooted now. Zimbabwe wrestling team are also looking forward to be part of the Pro Wrestling Africa before the year runs out.
