Adron Games: Army assures on security

The Nigerian Army has assured organisers of the Adron Games of maximum security during the event which is billed to run from November 18-20 at the Gateway Stadium in Sagamu, Ogun State.
This much was confirmed yesterday by the Games consultant, Waidi Akanni after he visited the 9th Brigade Commander, Brigadier MLD Saraso.
Brigadier Saraso had during the visit assured that the military would support the Games by helping sister security agencies to provide adequate security.
“We paid a visit to the Brigade Commander of the 9th Brigade, Ikeja and he (Brigadier Saraso) has assured us of the support of the army and this is another big boost ahead of the Adron Games,” Akanni stated.
It would be noted that the Adron Homes management has already embarked on the renovation of the games venue.
The Group Managing Director of Adron Homes, Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing was at the venue last week to personally supervise the job, even as he expressed satisfaction with the pace of work.
EmmanuelKing told journalists that Adron Homes decided to embark on the job as a way of partnering Ogun State government in the area of sports development.
He stressed that the whole idea is to see athletes compete in a conducive environment during the 5th edition of the Adron Games that has continued to get bigger and better with every edition.
