AIWF gives approval for wrestling training in Benin Republic

United States of America based Allied Independent Wrestling Federation has given approval to the forthcoming wrestling training for West African mats men scheduled to hold in Cotonou, Benin Republic from November, 16-17, 2024.
In a letter of approval signed by Matt Creed, AIWF Executive Director and addressed to the Secretary of Beninese Wrestling Federation ( FEBECATCH), Bissi Mohinou, noted that the training is part of their ongoing commitment to expanding the global reach of professional wrestling with focus on skill development, safety and professional standards in the sport.
The letter also informed the Benin Republic Federation that the training will be supervised by the President of AIWF Africa who also doubles as the Secretary General of Pro-Wrestling Africa ( PWA), Olusesan Olukoya who has extensive experience in managing and promoting wrestling activities across various regions
It noted that under his supervision, they’re confident that the training will be conducted with the utmost professionalism and adherence to the highest standards and integrity.
” Our goal is to provide aspiring wrestlers in Benin Republic with a platform to enhance their abilities and grow the local wrestling community in a positive and sustainable manner.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to contribute to the development of professional wrestling in Benin Republic and look forward to a productive collaboration”, concludes the statement.
