NNL Chairman, Aluo congratulates Christians on Easter Celebration

Chairman of Nigeria National League (NNL) Mr. George Aluo has congratulated millions of christians in the country on this year’s Easter celebration.

In a congratulatory message he personally signed, he noted that he’s happy that many Christians successfully participated in the Lenten period that culminated to the celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, urging them to be sober in their celebration as well as imbibe the virtues of Christ who was a peace maker during his sojourn on Earth.
He also admonished christians to use the celebration to pray for the peace of the country just as he urged them to be strong in their faith and be their brother’s keeper as was exemplified by Christ

” I congratulate Nigerians as they join the rest of the world to celebrate this year’s Easter. I urge them to be sobber in their celebration and use the period of this year’s Easter to pray for the peace and progress of the country.

” It’s equally important that they’re strong in their faith, live peacefully with their neighbours and always follow the teachings of Jesus Christ”, concludes the statement
