HFN President, Ocheho Commiserates with Family of Late Coach Aaron Okogie
The President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Mr. Samuel Ocheho, has expressed deep sadness over the passing of veteran handball coach, Aaron Okogie, who died recently in Benin City, Edo State.
In his condolence message, Mr. Ocheho described Coach Okogie as a passionate and dedicated figure in Nigerian handball whose immense contributions to the growth of the sport, particularly in Edo State, will be fondly remembered.
“Coach Aaron Okogie was not just a coach but a mentor and father figure to many players. His impact on handball in Nigeria, and in Edo State in particular, was remarkable. On behalf of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and the entire Edo State handball community.
His loss is deeply felt, and we pray for comfort and strength for those he has left behind,” Mr. Ocheho stated.
The HFN President, on behalf of the Nigeria Handball Family, also commiserated with the Edo State Handball Associates, urging them to take solace in the enduring legacy Coach Okogie leaves behind in the sport.
