Kogi State Born Aliking Targets European Training with Irish Professional Wrestling Body

Aliking Attai Mohammed, known as “De Action Disaster,” a prominent professional wrestler from Kogi State, Nigeria, and the reigning African middleweight champion billed to fight for the AIWF World Middle Weight Title on the 27th August, 2026 during the Kogi State 35th year anniversary, in commemoration of the creation of the Confluence state has set his sight on joining Nathan Hoy of the Northern Ireland Professional Wrestling (Northern Ireland’s Premier Pro Wrestling) based in Belfast, Ireland.
The training is aimed at while improving his skills and be ready for the world title championship to be hosted in Nigeria.
Speaking on his exploits, the dreaded wrestler said he is due for international training having been competing and training in Nigeria ever since.
“I need to train and compete among the best in the pro-wrestling industry and to achieve that, I need to gain diverse training philosophies, experience different wrestling styles, and potentially gain exposure internationally to larger wrestling markets and different fan bases which I cannot get in Nigeria”.
This dazzling wrestler of international repute has been rated as the number one world middleweight title contender by Allied Independent Wrestling Federations (AIWF) a USA based world pro wrestling sanctioning body.
By this impressive rating, Aliking will be contesting at the Northern Ireland Professional Wrestling ‘SLAMDOWN 2’ for the qualification to the World Middleweight Title fight. If he wins on the 6th day of June, 2026 in Belfast, Northern Ireland against Johnny Evers of Northern Ireland, he will have a shot at the world title.
The grand finale which is the AIWF World Middleweight Championship fight will hold in Lokoja, the Confluence City of Nigeria, on Thursday August 27thh 2026 among his kinsmen and in front of Kogi State’s who is who as the die is cast and the stage will be set between Aliking the Action Disaster of Nigeria and Heddi Karaoi (The Wrestling Machine) of France.
The people of Kogi State and its environs will for another quality time watch professional wrestling at its best as all roads will lead to the Muhammadu Buhari Event Center, Lokoja, Kogi state, the venue of the proposed World Middle Weight Title contest.
This will be the very first event of its kind to be hosted in the state, particularly one of this magnitude as with a world championship on the line as no world class sports competition has ever been hosted in the state since its creation.
