Mbaike Fed Constituency : Akarachi Spoils Constituents With Mega Empowerment

Last Easter, the people of Mbaitoli/ Ikeduru (Mbaike), Federal Constituency celebrated the season with pomp and pageantry as Hon. Akarachi Amadi, the member representing the Constituency in the National Assembly unleashed
unprecedented mega empowerment to the 
constituents through their autonomous
communities.

The mega empowerment programm which took
place at his massive ancestral compound , Eziama in Ikeduru LGA attracted government officials, party leaders,and stakeholders from across Imo State and beyond.

The empowerment program, described as one of the largest empowerments initiatives in the constituency in recent times, was a product of deliberate engagement with constituents across the 63 constituents communities
in Mbaitolu Ikeduru.

It included the distribution of 100 buses for youth empowerment, 57 
motorcycles for youth employment, 63
generators to support selected business owners, 126 sewing machines which stands to empower skilled acquired tailors and fashion designers, one
million cash empowerment for 100 
selected traders and artisans provision of 63 transformers with electric cables and poles to energize them in the 63 autonomous communities,
cash empowerment for two people in the booths in the federal constituency, 47 
Tricycle truck for farmers 
empowerment, among others.

In his remarks, Amadi thanked God and 
appreciated the support of the party leaders and colleagues in the
national assembly and the Imo State 
government, pointing out that the initiative was a fulfilment of his campaign promises to his people.

“I attribute my achievements to the support of Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma and the platform provided
APC,” he said. 
“The youth inclusion in governance is
yielding positive results. Youths are not the leaders of tomorrow. We’re the leaders of today. We will continue to set examples and 
deliver good governance to our people.”

The Lawmaker noted that the empowerment program was not a one-off event,but part of a larger strategy to improve the lives of his constituents. 

According to him, ‘this is not the first or second empowerment we are doing,
but this one reflects the 
fulfilment of our promises, by the special Grace of 
God, we have achieved 100% 
of what we have promised our
people.”

The Speaker of the House of 
Representatives, Hon Abass 
Tajudeen, who was represented on the occasion,
extolled the lawmaker for his commitment to grassroots 
development and youth 
employment. 

“This program is a testament 
to Hon Akarachi’s dedication to improving the lives of his constituents through impactful representation,” he 
said. “His focus on education, infrastructure, and job creation
was already producing 
tangible results.”

The Imo State chairman of 
APC, Chief Austin Onyedebelu commended Hon Akarachi
Amadi for translating party ideas into action, describing
the ruling party as one 
committed to improving the welfare of Nigerians.

“The APC is a party that is 
committed to the empowerment of our
people, and Hon Akarachi Amadi is a
shining example of this commitment”,
he said.

The beneficiaries of the Mega 
Empowermentt program 
expressed delight to Hon 
Akarachi Amadi, praying God 
to replenish his pocket. 

“We are grateful to Hon 
Akarachi Amadi for this 
generous gift,” said one 
beneficiary. “We will make 
good use of the opportunity
 provided and ensure that we 
contribute to the development of our community.

The empowerment program 
was seen as a major boost to the economy of Mbaitolu 
and Ikeduru, with many 
beneficiaries expected to start
their own businesses or expand existing ones.

The program was also seen as a way to reduce unemployment and poverty
in the constituency.

The event attracted a wide 
range of diginitaries, including
government officials, party leaders and stakeholders from
across Imo State and beyond.

The program was described 
as one of the largest 
empowerment initiatives in 
the constituency in recent time and was seen as a  testament to Hon Akarachi 
Amadi’s commitment to the 
empowerment of his 
constituents.

His empowerment program 
has been praised by many in the constituency, who see it as a model for effective 
representation and grassroots 
development. 

The program has also been
