Organisers of the Africa Youth Cup, Serahanasports have congratulated Bendel Insurance on their FA Cup victory Wednesday in Asaba.
Serahanasports in a statement signed by Godson Ekadi said Insurance after the hard work of the season and the massive support of Edo State government deserve to end the season with a trophy.
“At Serahanasports, we have followed the performance of Insurance this season. Monday Odigie and his boys have done well. Super 6 in Lagos was a poor outing for the team but we are happy they used the FA Cup to make amends. We congratulate them and the Edo State government for this historic feat and wish them well in the continent.”
Godson Ekadi disclosed that plans are in top gear for this year’s Africa Youth Cup tournament in Cape Verde which is billed for October even as he urged Nigerian soccer academies to register and participate.
“Registration is still open for this year’s Africa Youth Cup in Cape Verde and we hope Nigerian soccer academies would register and be part of the tournament.”
