Akin Oyebode U-15 Cup: Ex Eagles star, Olofinjana shares secret on education and sports

Ahead of the kick off of the Prof. Akin Oyebode U15 boys and girls football competition, the organizers have moved a step forward by organizing a twin event beginning with a seminar to be headlined by Ex-Super Eagles and Wolves midfielder, Seyi Olofinjana.

There would also be the draws for the competition to be held at the Oluyemi Kayode stadium, Ado-Ekiti.

According to a released signed by Pelumi Abiara, Olofinjana would be sharing the secrets of having good grades in school, while engaging in sports, in line with the objectives the organizers and sponsors of the competition.

” We will be engaging the team heads, venue managers and selected stakeholders on the vision and mission behind the competition particularly on “Sports as a complement for youth education and development.

” There would be other resource persons talking about encouraging more female participation in football and its inherent benefits for gender balance in the society,” he added.
