Anambra FA Sets Bold Agenda for 2026, Vows Results-Driven Football Growth
The Anambra State Football Association has declared 2026 a defining year in its mission to reposition football in the state, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable growth, professionalism and tangible results.
Chairman of Anambra FA, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi, popularly known as “The General,” said the association is “Super charged” with renewed passion and drive to take Anambra football to the next level.
According to him, the focus remains firmly on development, discipline and adherence to the core values and ethos of the game.
“Our focus is on growth while applying all football ethos. No noise, just results,” Chief Iloenyosi stated, emphasizing that the leadership of the Anambra FA is determined to let performance and progress speak louder than words.
He noted that recent criticisms and negative commentaries from what he described as “enemies of football in Anambra” are clear signs that the association is making significant impact, gaining attention and breaking new boundaries in football administration and development.
“The destructive criticisms and rants only show that we are making rave reviews and pushing beyond old limits. Rather than distract us, they have further motivated us,” he added.
The Anambra FA chairman called on stakeholders, football lovers and the general public to support the association’s vision as it embarks on what he described as a “voyage of football evolution,” aimed at discovering talent, strengthening grassroots structures and restoring Anambra’s pride in Nigerian football.
With renewed confidence and clear direction, the Anambra State Football Association says it is ready to deliver measurable progress in 2026 and beyond, reinforcing its promise of growth driven by action, not rhetoric.
