Ardova Handball League : Adamawa Warriors, COAS Babes earn first wins 

Adamawa Warriors and COAS Babes got their first victory of the season, Tuesday, on day 8 of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2024 phase 1 ongoing in Benin City, Edo State.

The Warriors from Yola did what they had to do as they earned a shocking 32-26 victory over Seasider Boys of Lagos to earn their first win in the Ardova Handball Premier League 2024.

Other matches in the men category saw, defending champion coming back to winning ways with an emphatic 35-24 victory over Sunshine Kings while Tojemarine Academy continue to lead the league log following their tough 30-28 victory over Rima Strikers of Sokoto.

Former champion Safety Shooters played out a pulsating 29-29 draw with rivals, De Defenders in what is an Abuja derby affair while Benue Buffaloes and Correction Boys also played out a 29-29 draw as well.

In the women category, COAS Babes also earned their first victory of the season as they defeated Seasider Babes of Lagos 30-25 while Plateau Peacocks defeated Imo Grasshoppers 27-22.

Delta Queens were no match for Rivers Queens as they lost to the Port Harcourt outfit 35-29 while Rima Queens won big as they defeated Bendel Dynamos 41-27.

In an Abuja derby match, defending champion Safety Babes easily defeated Defender Babes 36-25.
