Argentina 2023: African champions, Senegal crash out

Senegal failed Saturday night to take their dominance in Africa to the global stage as they crashed out of the U 20 World Cup in Argentina.

The Senegalese crashed out after playing out a 1-1 draw with group leaders Colombia.

Colombia qualified for the Round of 16 alongside debutants Isreal who shocked Japan in the other match of the group winning by 2-1.
