BAYELSA GOVERNOR’S FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT, PROSPERITY CUP 2025 FINAL POSTPONED

Organizers of the nation’s biggest grassroots tournament, the Bayelsa Governor’s Prosperity Cup has announced a postponement of the third place and final match initially billed for this weekend.

Director General of the tournament Ono Akpe in a Special Announcement made available to the media today said the third place and final match slated for May 30 and 31 has been postponed adding that a new date would be announced in due course.

The announcement stated in part…   FOLLOWING RECENT UNANTICIPATED  DEVELOPMENTS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE ORGANISERS OF THE PROSPERITY CUP, THE THIRD PLACE MATCHES AND  GRAND FINALE EARLIER SCHEDULED FOR 30TH AND 31ST MAY RESPECTIVELY HAVE BEEN POSTONED. NEW DATES WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN DUE COURSE.

He was quick to add the schedule for the semi final matches…
