Chairman and Managing Director of CACATIN Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Olatunji Yusuf Lawal says that the finals of the maiden CACATIN 7-aside football tournament will be exciting and full of fireworks, advising Lagosians not to miss it.
The finals according to the organisers will be decided on November, 21 at Abesan Youth Centre, Ipaja, Lagos, venue of the championship.
Dr. Lawal told our correspondent Saturday at the Abesan Mini Stadium venue of the just concluded Musa Kida Basketball Championship that everything has been put together for a successful finals even as he expressed confidence that the organisers are capable of putting up a finals every football lover will be proud of
” I want to assure you that the finals of the CACATIN football tournament will be exciting because every logistics has been put in place to ensure that there’s no dull moment on that day.
” It’s equally important that I tell you that the organisers have done a good job from the kickoff to the knock out stages and so the finals will be something different”, he assured.
Meanwhile coordinator of the tournament, Tayo Adeyemo of Wonderland Event has echoed the statement of the sponsor; saying that football lovers will have an action filled finals.
The CACATIN football tournament is being organized as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility functions as well as to give youths of Mosan Okunola Local Council Development Area opportunity to showcase their talents.
A total of 20 teams are taking part in the championship which kicked off on October, 21.
Winner of the tournament will go home with N200,000, a trophy and medals, while the first and second runners- up will get N100,000 and N50,000 and medals respectively.
There will also be individual awards like, the Most Valuable Player, Highest Goal Scorer, Best Goal keeper and best behaved team while the finalists will get set of jerseys with all the teams getting play balls.
