CAFCC Group Stage: Enyimba’s fine start excites Egbe

Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle, Ebi Egbe has hailed the fine start of Enyimba in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Enyimba Tuesday afternoon beat visiting Ahly Benghazi of Libya by 2-1 at the Enyimba stadium in the very first match of the group stage where they would also face South Africa’s Orlando Pirates and Algeria’s ES Setif.
Egbe while giving a pat on the back to the People’s Elephants said he sees Enyimba going all the way in the competition, even as he added that winning the first game was quite crucial.
“I m happy Enyimba have started well. I want to commend the players, the coaches and the management for always striving to make the country proud. I am sure Enyimba will go all the way in the competition. It is good the best club emerged for the group stage after they were unfortunately paired against Rivers United in the knockout stage. Enyimba have experience going for them and they also have the best pitch and more passionate fans. I hope very soon the coast would become clear for their fans to be at the stadium to support them when they play,” Egbe said.
Egbe’s firm Monimichelle, it would be noted constructed the Enyimba Stadium turf which remains the best in the country.
