According to him, the foundation which in the past has carried out the exercise at Oru, Ilaporu, Ibakan and, Abigi waterside is now moving to Odoalamo community where it’s expected that about 1,000 community members will benefit from the free eye test and distribution of glasses.

” At Adelaja Adenuga Foundation, our focus has always been to create impact on our communities and give people a sense of belonging.

” We discovered that a lot of people in our rural communities suffer one eye ailment or the other and in most cases cannot afford money to see an optician or buy recommended eye glasses and that’s why we are embarking on the project.

” In the past, we’ve gone to Oru, Ilaporu, Ibakun and Abigi waterside and the train is now moving to Odoalamo community because we want all the communities to benefit from the programme”, he explained.

Adelaja who is also a patron of Pro-Wrestling Federation further explained that apart from the eye text and distribution of eye glasses, there’ll also be distribution of pallatives consisting of rice, garri and household items for those above 60 years of age.
