Raise the bar, Amajirionwu tasks new NNL board, commends Gusau

Hon. Blyden Amajirionwu the immediate past lawmaker representing Ngor Okpala constituency in the Imo House of Assembly has tasked the new board of the Nigeria National League ( NNL) to raise the bar and take the second tier league to a higher level.

Amajirionwu who spoke when he paid a courtesy call on the Chairman of the board, George Aluo in the Abuja Secretariat of NNL on Friday said he is confident the board will deliver.

“I m here to give you the needed support as my brother from Ngor Okpala, Imo state. I know your pedigree as a sports journalist. I want to thank the President of NFF Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau for getting competent people to run our domestic leagues. I charge you to deliver by raising the bar. Nigerians want to see our league get better,” Amajirionwu said.

Amajirionwu an ardent football lover said he is confident Nigerian football would flourish under the leadership of Gusau who he noted is getting competent Nigerians to work with him.
