Qatar 2022: Senegalese Teranga Lions roar into Round of 16

Senegal Tuesday night romped into the World Cup round of 16 after beating Ecuador by 2-1.

The Senegalese with the victory finished runners up of Group A behind group favorites Holland.

Ismailia Sarr put Senegal ahead with a 43 rd minute penalty only for Ecuador to level up in the 68th minute.

But before the celebration that followed the equalizer could die down Senegal struck again with skipper Kalifa Koulibaly doing the job.
