Evergreen Music Boss Reiterates Commitment To Preservation Of Nigerian Music

The Managing Director of Evergreen Musical Company, which is Nigeria and Africa’s foremost music library, Bimbo Esho, has reiterated the commitment of the company to ensure that Nigerian musical compositions and legacies are preserved.
The renowned connoisseur of classical and evergreen music that covers virtually all genres of music, reiterated this avowed commitment while she played host to Seun Tijani, a final year student of music of Lagos State University, who visited the office of Evergreen Musical Company, in search of materials and information for his final year thesis, which is ‘Role And Contribution Of Achivist To Nigerian Music Industry’.
Esho, who expressed her delight to receive the visiting scholar, commended the young man for his passion and choice to make researches in the preservation of music of yesteryears.
She buttressed her responses to his range of questions by giving him a tour of the Evergreen musical museum that contained Gramophone, Record Changers( turntable), Reel to Reel, Vinlys of different sizes and other musical paraphernalia.
Responding to the question on her plans for Evergreen Musical Company in the coming years, she said, “Evergreen Music is now beyond all of us. It belongs to everybody as it as overtime become a place of repository of knowledge where students, musicians, academias, journalists and others all come in search for rare information and materials on music of yesteryears some spanning over 100 years.”
“For us, we shall continue to contribute our quota selflessly to the development and preservation of Nigerian Music for the sake of posterity,” the highly regarded music company boss enthused confidently.
