National Stadium, Surulere turf ready for action

Just like the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, the National Stadium Surulere Lagos is now having a lush green natural grass turf.

This much was confirmed by Kola Daniel the media aide of Sports Minister, Sunday Dare.

Daniel who posted pictures of re grassed pitch said the job which was financed by Kessingston Adebutu (Baba Ijebu) is 100 percent ready to host games.

“This dream is being realized courtesy of the Adopt a stadium initiative of the Sports minister Sunday Dare. It is good to see the Abuja and Lagos stadiums bounce back to life,” Daniel said.

The Abuja National Stadium is billed to host the Nigeria, Ghana World Cup play off on March 29.
