Former Eagles spokesman, Udoh becomes Obong Udeme Usanga as he buries father in Uyo

Veteran journalist Colin Udoh has been coronated as Obong Udeme Akaninyene Colin Udoh Usanga, which makes him Obong Ufok Nung Anwana Nung Ubo Udua (Chief of the Nung Anwana Royal Family of Mbribit Itam, Akwa Ibom State).
The coronation was done on Thursday, just as the USA-based media personality commenced the final funeral rites for his late father, Chief Cosmas Stephen Udoh, who died on 26th April this year.
A vigil mass was held for the late Chief Udoh on Thursday evening at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, Itam Itu local government area of Akwa Ibom State, before the requiem mass at the same venue on Friday morning.
The late Chief Udoh was an insurance professional who served meritoriously at the National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria (NICON) for many years, and retired with dignity and in flying colours as Regional Head of Agency and Branch Manager for Bayelsa State.
Obong Udeme Akaninyene Colin Udoh, who is the husband of Nigeria women football legend and FIFA’s Ambassador for Women’s Football, Mercy Akide-Udoh, is a former Media Officer of the Super Eagles and one-time Member of the NFF Marketing and Sponsorship Committee.
