Gombwer, Lions and Knights through to last four of NBBF TotalEnergies Division 2 finals

Alice Gombwer of Kaduna, Adamawa Lions and ABU Knights of Zaria are through to semi finals of the NBBF TotalEnergies Division 2 Savannah Conference finals going on in Abuja.
Alice Gombwer zoomed into the last four after a nail bitting encounter against Solid Heats of Nasarawa by 66 to 64 points win on Saturday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
It was a game of two halves. Gombwer took the first two quarters by the same score, 19-14, 19-14 but lost the third and final quarters 16-19 and 12-17.
On Match Day 1, Alice Gombwer over powered Numan Super Flames 64-43.
Adamawa Lions also advance into the last four after a 78 to 72 points win over Village Buzzers. 15-19, 12-20, 25-11 and 29-25. The defeat was the second for the Village Buzzers.
They lost their opening fixture to ABU Knights on Friday 80-68.
The last group matches in the Savannah Conference finals will be played today (Sunday). It’s fight to finish between Solid Heats and Numan Super Flames.
A win by any of the two teams, will land it in the semi final from group A.
ABU Knights and Adamawa Lions that are already through to the last four meet in the second game of the day to determine who tops group B.
