Hunger Protest: Soun of Ogbomoso sues for Peace

The Paramount Ruler of Ogbomosoland His Imperial Majesty Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye Orumogege 111 has sued for Peace in the wake of the wanton destruction that has trailed the on- going protests across the country.
In a broadcast to the people, the Monarch said violence was not the way to adress misgivings as the current trend could scare potential investors away from the country.” I have spoken to a group of people who gathered in Owode and also issued a press release that they should not join the protests. We have a 25- year development agenda and investors will come. But we don’t want investors to feel that our town is unruly and not conducive for investors.
We all know what happened during the EndSars protests where hoodlums snd miscreants hijacked the peaceful protest. We may not be happy with the way things are ,let us believe and support the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and our Governor Seyi Makinde. I believe in peaceful protests, but the way some people are going about it will not solve the problems. Only some people will lose. Let’s not destroy the land. I believe I have your back just like you have mine. Please let us embrace peace and dialogue. May war not ravage our land.
He disclosed that his recent meeting with Ogbomoso Sons and Daughters in North America to chart the way forward for Ogbomosoland was very encouraging.
