One of the country’s best middleweight wrestler, Tochukwu Johnson, popularly known as De Hardman says he’s now due for wrestling training in Europe where he hope to further horn his skills in the mats man game.
According to the dreaded wrestler who was part of the Pro- Wrestling Africa crew that trained upcoming wrestlers in March last year in Lome, Togo, he has been competing and training in Nigeria and the West Coast of Africa for the past five years and time has come for him to acquire more experience and exposure to be able to compete amongst the best in the world
” I know that am due for international training having been competing and training in Nigeria in the last five years. I was part of the crew that trained Togolese talents in March 2024 for three days.
“The hard way is the only way to succeed in the ring and am quite aware of this. I need to compete among the who is who in the professional wrestling industry and to achieve that, I need timely international training to enable me gain diverse training philosophies, experience different wrestling styles, and potentially gain exposure to larger wrestling markets and different fan bases which I cannot get in Nigeria” explained De Hardman.
Talented and lion-hearted De Hardman, a Pro- Wrestling Africa (PWA) fighter who is very stylish, is a young wrestler of note who is fast earning himself a reputation for making life miserable for his numerous opponents around the Nigerian wrestling scene and beyond and he’s focused on training and competing internationally among the best in the world.
Born on the 2nd of May, 1999, 26-year-old De Hardman, who hails from Okpulumuobu, Osisioma Ngwa Local government area of Abia State in the Eastern part of Nigeria was nurtured by the legendary Jimmy Palm “The African Dream” who trained him to stardom.
He was inspired into joining the league of Nigerian pro wrestlers after his training under Jimmy Palm who also runs the African Wrestling Organization (AWO) who trained him to a standard any wrestler can dream of after years of trying to figure out how to break into the grunt and groan sport.
‘’Wrestling is my passion. I dream wrestling, sleep wrestling and eat wrestling. I have been watching professional wrestling from childhood and I have many wrestlers as role models but currently, Roman Reigns stands out as my best wrestler.
” My target is to be trained by Kim Tinning of the Danski Pro- Wrestling (Denmark Pro Wrestling) based in Denmark. He is the best in Europe to the best of my knowledge. I hope to be with him during the Summer training course in July 2025.
De Hardman, who would like to be trained and compete internationally is not relenting on this as he has been training hard to prove that what those international talents can do, he can indeed do better internationally when he gets down to the midst of the roughest and toughest talents in the mats man sport with modern training facilities and gadgets at his disposal and based on the experience he has acquired back home in Nigeria.
