The Imo State Non Indigenes Forum, NIFOM has slammed an indefinite suspension on Mr. Victor Osuagwu for alleged act of insubordination and activities inimical to the mission and vision of the forum even as it passed vote of implicit confidence on High Chief Cosmas Nwaohiri, KSJI, the President of the Forum.
The forum took the unanimous decision last Monday during their well attended expanded State Executive meeting held at Chukwuma Nwaoha/Aladimma, Owerri, their meeting venue after critical analysis of Osuagwu’s inimical activities against the Forum and its leadership.
The meeting observed that Osuagwu who was the immediate past Secretary General of the Forum has exhibited an inordinate ambition geared towards destabilization of the Forum through factionalization and seeking for undue relevance.
His mission, the Forum noted, is borne out of over ambitiousness and pettiness as against patriotism, visionary and purposeful leadership as has demonstrated by Nwaohiri, stressing that he also lacks the charisma and temperament associated with leadership.
The Forum passionately enjoined Imolites and the general public, especially the Patrons and members to henceforth disassociate themselves from him (Osuagwu) and his antics, especially with regards to Non Indigenes Forum, NIFOM as he is being driven by selfish interest and does not have the credibility again to represent the Forum in any quarter.
The Forum further appealed to her members and stakeholders not to be discouraged by the power drunk antics of Osuagwu, as the leadership is more than ever before committed in the pursuit and realization of the Forum’s constitutional aims and objectives and in the overall interest of all.
They pointed out that the Forum as a legally registered body, has constitutional ways of handling issues and detest acts of incivilities, hooliganism and touting as being exhibited by Mr. Victor Osuagwu.
