Okosieme throws weight behind ANFPU

Ex international, Ndubuisi Okosieme has thrown his weight behind the All Nigeria Football Players Union (ANFPU).
Okosieme said he decided to join the ranks of those in ANFPU since it is the best way forward for the players union.
“ANFPU is the way forward when it comes to our union and this is why I am supporting it. As ex players we need a vibrant union that can protect our interest. We have not made progress over the years with the former union and that has to change,” Okosieme said.
He added that he is not working for any other group insisting that all the nation’s ex players need to speak with one voice under the ANFPU umbrella.
It would be noted that several Super Eagles players had during the on going Nations Cup in Cameroon also identified with the new players union that was midwifed by Chikelue Iloenyosi, who is the BOT chairman.
