June 12: Uzodimma Salutes Nigerians on Democracy Day
His Excellency, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON, heartily salutes all Nigerians on the occasion of this year’s Democracy Day, marked on June 12.
It is heartening that our nation has sustained 26 years of uninterrupted democracy, an achievement built on sacrifice, resilience, and the collective will of our people.
I pay tribute to all Nigerians, past and present, whose courage and sacrifice laid the foundation for this democratic journey. Their legacy endures in every free vote cast and every voice heard.
As we commemorate this important milestone, I urge us all to remain vigilant and resolute in defending our hard-won democratic gains. Let us continue to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as he leads the country on a path of renewal and shared prosperity.
