LASU Set for 53rd NAPHER-SD Conference and Workshop.

All is now set for the 53rd National Conference and Workshop of the National Association for Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance ( NAPHER-SD ) which will take place at the Lagos State University main Campus, along the Badagry Expressway, Ojo Lagos.

With “Lifelong learning through Physical, Health Education, Recreation, Sports and Dance ” as the ‘Theme’ of the conference, it promises to be thought provoking more so when the Chief host, the Vice Chancellor of the Lagos State University, Prof Ibiyemi Olatunji- Bello has since given her blessings for the conference to hold at LASU

The host, Prof. Gabriel O Akindoju, Dean of the faculty of Education, has assured delegates and participants coming from across the country of a hitch-free programme.

A position which was collaborated by the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee ( LOC), Prof. N.A Sentonji.
Professor, R. A Monronfolu from LASU will be giving the Keynote note speech while Dr Uchenna Dim, of the National Orthopedic Hospital, Igbobi, will present the Lead paper at the conference that has Dr. Femi Abioye of the Nigeria Olympic Committee ( NOC ) as facilitator.

Meanwhile, President of NAPHER-SD, Prof. Florence Adeyanju, has expressed satisfaction on the progress being made by the Prof. Sentonji-led LOC as far as the event planning is concerned.
She is even happier when she learnt that some Royal fathers will. be gracing the conference .

Prominent among them is the Oniba Ekun of IBA Kingdom, Lagos State, HRM, Oba ( Dr.) Suleiman Adeshina Raji-Ashade, and HRM Oba Nojeemdeen Abidemil Aberejo duala1, Ogunjobi 111,Tthe Adakoson of Akesan Kingdom, Lagos State among others.

Meanwhile, the Secretary General of NAPHER-SD, DR. Franz Atare, is expected in Lagos on Tuesday while the workshop is on Wednesday 24 sept. The plenary session opens on Thursday 25 and closes on Friday 26 September ahead of Friday 27 September departure date.
