Lt Col Okou congratulates newly appointed President Sport Science Commission, Maschopoulos

..Appreciates stakeholders for nominating him into the Presidential election

Following the appointment of Lt. Col Maschopoulos as Sport Science Commission President of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), Lt. Colonel Timipre Okou PhD, has extended his congratulations to Maschopoulos.

Lt. Colonel Okou, who was a candidate vying for that position, commended the CISM Board of Directors for appointing Lt.Col Maschopoulos to lead the Commission.

The International Referee with the United World Wrestling, who doubled as Facilitator and Manager of the 2nd Africa Military Games Scientific Congress and Coordinator Nigeria Defence Wrestling Team in a goodwill message, said, ‘I want to say a very big congratulations to Lt Col Maschopoulos from Greece on his appointment as President of our Commission, and I believe he will bring his wealth of experience to take the Commission to the next level’.

‘I’m ready to work and give him the necessary support when called upon. He has my best assurance.

The International Military Council Sports Committee member also expressed his deepest gratitude to the Board of Directors and critical stakeholders who nominated him for the election.
