Mother’s Day: Uzodimma throws weight behind Imo mothers, orders all Imo political appointees to storm church

Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has directed all his commissioners and aides to be in church on Sunday (tomorrow) to worship and identify with Imo mothers on mothering Sunday.
The governor via a memo signed by I. A. Oguzie on behalf of the SSG stated that worshipping in church tomorrow is compulsory and everyone involved must show evidence of compliance.
The memo stated in part…”His Excellency, Senator (Dr.) Hope Uzodimma, CON, GSSRS, Governor of Imo State, has directed all political appointees in the State
to proceed to their respective communities on Sunday March 30, 2025 to worship with their kiths and kins during this year’s Mothers’ Sunday church Service and celebrate
with our Mothers…Attendance is mandatory and all concerned should show evidence of participation on
return to the Secretary to the Government of Imo State…His Excellency wishes Imo Mothers a successful Mothering Sunday celebration.”
