Musa Kida Receives FEGOCOSO Excellence Award

Another feather was added to the already beautifully studded cap of the President of Nigeria Basketball Federation Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida as he was honoured with the Excellence And Philanthropist award Saturday in Abuja by the Federal Government College, Sokoto.

Kida, an ex- student of the school, was rewarded by the organisers for his continued moral and financial supports to his Alma Mata over the years.

 The well attended awards ceremony that had the Sultan of Sokoto ably represented by the Emir of Bugudu, the chairman of the occasion was Idris Wada, former governor of Kogi state, as well as, past and present senators, former ministers and serving senior officers of this current government.

Speaking after receiving his awards,  Kida reiterated his unflinching commitment towards good and quality education of the people, as well as, contributing his quota for the development of the Nigerian society.

He went on to thank the management of the school and the organisers for the award bestowed on him. He also commended them for keeping the lights of the school glowing, even as he promised to continue his support for the school.
