Nation Wide League One Hammer Falls on Sky Limit FC
The board of Nation Wide League One has banned Sky Limit FC of Kano from further participating in it’s league because of act of hooliganism.
In a letter by the League board signed by the Chief Operating Officer,
Olushola Ogunnowo and copied to the Secretary Kano State Football Association, Chairman of Sky Limit FC and all Nation Wide League One sides, the league board noted that The NLO Secretariat was disturbed by the assault and near death situation on the match officials by the technical bench and all the players of Sky Limit FC in the ongoing 2025 league in the match played between them and Dromeda FC.
The letter drew the attention of the club to article 4.13(6) of the NLO which states that in case of hooliganism, the first offending club shall be banned for three matches in the first instance and six match ban for a second occurrence while in the event that it’s a zonal league, any club with violent conduct shall be expelled.
It noted that consequently, Sky Limit football club Kano, will henceforth not be participating in the ongoing
league and their previously earned points shall be deducted and the team removed from the log.
The report according to the Chief Operating Officer shall be forwarded to the Nigeria Football Federation for further sanctions.
