NFF board member, Nse adds another feather to his cap, bags PhD
A board member of Nigeria Football Federation, Hon Essien Nse has added another feather to his growing profile by bagging a PhD.
Nse, a former member of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and proprietor of FC One Rocket, a club that last season campaigned in the Nigerian National League side ( NNL), bagged his PhD on Sports Infrastructure Distribution And Human Capital Development in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Speaking on the achievement, Nse explained that he’s fulfilled with his academic achievement describing it as a fulfilment of his personal academic ambition.
“I’m highly excited with the successful defence of my thesis which deals with Sports Infrastructure Distribution and Human Capital Development in Akwa Ibom State where I once served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the State’s House of Assembly.
“This academic achievement to me is the biggest thing I have achieved in life because right from my undergraduate days, my ambition has always been to be aPhD holder,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Nigerian National Football League, Mr. George Aluo has congratulated Nse on his recent academic achievement describing it as a no mean feat.
