Sallah is hattrick hero as Liverpool survive Leeds in seven goals thriller

Mo Sallah was simply fantastic, as he scored a hattrick in Liverpool’s EPL opener against hard fighting newcomers, Leeds United.

The encounter was one in which Leeds came from behind to level up on three occasions.

The Marcelo Bielsa tutored side did not however have enough time to score again when Sallah scored his third of the night in the 88th minute.

Sallah scored twice from the spot in the 4th and 33rd minute. Virgil Van Dirk scored Liverpool’s other goal in the seven goals thriller.

Leeds goals were scored by Harrison, Patrick Bamford and Mateus Klich.

The other EPL newcomers, Fulham were beaten 3-0 at home by Arsenal.
