One of the resource persons for the NNL organized three-day seminar for coaches and media officers taking place at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Fatai Amoo has expressed delight for being penciled down to share his experience as a player and coach.
Speaking ahead of the seminar billed to take place from 28th- 30th October, the former Super Eagles Assitant coach said…”I feel very honoured to be selected as one of the resource persons for the NNL pre season coaches Seminar to share my experience both as an ex league player and coach. Football has become very dynamic with changes taking place everyday in all departments. In order to compete well, coaches must keep abreast with modern trends. I commend the NNL for this great initiative which will positively impact our football.”
According to the Chairman of the Nigeria National League Board Mr George Aluo…”We are excited to organize a pre- season seminar for our coaches and media officers to prepare for the 2024/2025 season. The NNL is keen on building the capacity of our coaches in order to improve the standard of the league hence we have selected respected, knowledgeable people the seminar. We cannot compromise on standard, but rather keep improving on it.”
A new dimension has been introduced to the Seminar with the inclusion of media officers to make them micro manage the clubs media image better.
Renowned coach Alphonsus Dike will join Amoo as a resource person, while media Practioners like Tony Ubani, John Joshua- Akanji and Oluchi Tobex-Tobechukwu will update the media officers on latest trends in media club management.
The pre -season seminar will take place at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne from October 28th-30th, 2024 with all NNL club coaches and media officers expected to take part.
