NPFL: Amuneke makes bad start as Heartland fall at home to Enyimba

By Ifeanyi Eduzor
Coach Emmanuel Amuneke made a bad start in the NPFL Sunday evening as Heartland fell 1-3 at home to Enyimba.
The Owerri side started the game on a promising note as they drew the first blood only for Enyimba to come from behind to score three second half goals.
It would be noted that Heartland last season went on relegation but staged a comeback to the elite class after securing the slot of Beyond Limit of Ikenne.
Imo state government in a bid to beef up the team named Amuneke the club’s new manager.
In some of the other Week One ties, Remo Stars secured a 2-0 away victory over Abia Warriors while Niger Tornadoes beat Kwara United 2-1 in Ilorin.
