United States of America based Patron of Rangers, Benson Ezeomeogo Ejindu (MVP) has redeemed his pledge to players of the club.
Ejindu as a way of motivating the team which has struggled all season made a pledge of N3m should they win four of their last league games. The Oba Anambra State born philanthropist in a telephone chat with the players had made it clear to the players that it would be a taboo for Rangers to go on relegation, even as he pledged to lend his weight behind the team.
In line with his pledge, Ejindu has doled out N1.5m to the team after the two victories recorded by the Flying Antelopes.
Rangers are now 7th on the Group B abridged league log and looks good to escape relegation. The club would however need an outright win in their last game at home to Rivers United to make relegation escape assurance double sure.
