NTF to embark on grassroot development -Hemba

Chairman of the Central Planning Committee(CPC), of the just concluded Davis Cup World Group 11 Play-off between Nigeria and Uzbekistan, Victor Hemba, said the Nigeria Tennis Federation (NTF), next agenda is grass root development.

Speaking immediately after Nigeria’s triumph over Uzbekistan on Sunday, Hemba who is also the technical Committee chairman of the Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei led NTF, insists that grassroot Development is key and that is the Federation’s next agenda.

He said the NTF will immediately embark on grassroot Development having discovered that a lot of our youths are interested in the sport.

Hemba also gave kudos to the victorious players whose resilience, hard work and determination, ensured that Nigeria grabs the Davis Cup World Group 11 ticket,

He assured that the Federation will continue to do it’s best in improving the standard of Tennis in the country.
