NWFL : Ahudiya Nnem gets air travel, N15m boost ahead Lafia, Akure away ties
Following Ahudiya Nnem FC’s impressive performance in their last two games, the President of the Abiriba, Abia State based team, Dr. Chief Robert Onyeani has concluded arrangement to fly the team to Lafia and Akure for their away matches against Nasarawa Amazons and Sunshine Queens.
The team under new coach, Adanna Nwaneri recorded a 2-1 away victory over Remo Queens at Ikenne before walloping Osun Babes 3-0 at home in Aba and highly elated Chief Onyeani decided that the team will fly to their next away game venues in order to enable them travel in a conducive environment as well as concentrate fully before the crucial games.
Meanwhile, for defeating Remo Queens in Ikenne, Chief Onyeani has announced a bonus of N15 million to the team.
Making the announcement, the Club President said it’s his way of appreciating their efforts and motivating them to go for the league title.
” I’m happy that the team under a new coach has bounced back to reckoning and for defeating Remo Queens at Ikenne, they’ll be getting a match bonus of N15 million.
“This is in keeping with my promise to keep on motivating the players for doing well and I hope that this incentive will make them do even better in the remaining matches of the season”, explained the grassroots football developer and philanthropist of repute.
