Ogunbote scores Monimichelle pitches high
...Tells Heartland to look for new home like Rangers

Remo Stars manager, Gbenga Ogunbote has declared that his side would have secured maximum points against Heartland away in Owerri if the Dan Anyiam Stadium turf supports good football.
Ogunbote who spoke after his side played out a goalless draw on Tuesday with Heartland said the natural grass turf at the Owerri arena is too bumpy and does not allow the game to flow, even as he urged Heartland to look for an alternative venue like Rangers recently did.
In Ogunbote’s words…”you can see that on this turf it is difficult to string passes because the turf is too bumpy. It is affecting Heartland too. So, my advice is for them to go elsewhere like Rangers did. You can see that Rangers fortunes have gotten better since the team moved to Awka.”
It would be noted that the turf at the Ikenne home of Remo Stars as well as the one at the Awka City Stadium were constructed by Monimichelle, the nation’s leading stadium facilities construction outfit.
The turf at the Enyimba Stadium, Aba which has been commended by teams from different parts of Africa was also constructed by Monimichelle.
