We’re Proud of Your Achievements- Hon. Saina Buba, Tells NBBF President Kida

It has been a flurry of exciting and emotional activities in the Borno State sports community since the arrival of the NBBF President, Dr. Ahmadu Musa Kida to the state capital, Maiduguri.

Thursday, the amiable and well loved NBBF boss received as visitors, members of the Borno State Basketball Association, as well as, the Borno State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Saina Buba, in his Maiduguri residence.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Saina Buba, while praising God for the life and good health of Engr. Musa Kida, was effusive in praise for Kida on what he described as ‘unprecedented achievements’ in both his sports and business careers.

“We thank God for your life, health and your family. You have done the good people of Borno state and indeed, Nigeria, very proud in all your endeavours, including your business, philanthropy and of course, as the president of Nigeria Basketball Federation.

“Therefore, on behalf of the Borno State government and the whole sports community, we say thank you. And we pray that God will continue to bless and protect you. We’re proud of you,” Hon. Saina Buba prayed.

Meanwhile, later this evening, there would be a friendly basketball game in honour of Kida at the basketball court of University of Maiduguri, to commemorate his visit to the state, the first in over two years.
