Oyekola ‘Scorpion’ plans get-together at Ilaji Gym to appreciates his fans

In a bid to show gratitude and appreciate those that have supported his boxing career, the reigning Japanese featherweight boxing champion, Nigerian Ridwan ‘Scorpion’ Oyekola, has fixed Friday 29th of December for an event tagged: ‘An Evening with A Champ’ scheduled for the Boxing gym of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort Ibadan, Oyo State.
The event according to the former World Boxing Federation (WBF) Champion is designed to show appreciation to spirited individuals that had positively contributed to his success story in his boxing journey.
“I specifically chose the Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts for this event because of the significant role of the owner of the place, Engr. Dotun Sanusi played in my boxing career. He has also built a world class boxing gym for the benefits and use of any boxer that intend to prepare himself ahead of an important bout”.
“I’m calling on my fans all over the world to look forward to the event we have tagged ‘An Evening with a Champ’ as it will be streamed live on my social media handles.
On that day, some selected personalities will receive award from ‘Team Scorpion’ as our way of appreciating what they have done to assist my boxing career to this level before I will be returning to Japan where I’m based in January,” said Scorpion.
