PowerBlink Ventures One- Day Independent Football Tournament Ends In Lagos
As part of it’s plan to develop grassroots football in Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos State and it’s environ as well as commemorate the country’s 65th independent anniversary, PowerBlink Ventures/ Football Club organized a one day grassroots football tournament on Wednesday, October, 1, 2025.
Speaking at the event, CEO of PowerBlink
Venture/Football Club, Coach Elijah Opetunde,emphasized that the goal of the tournament is to provide a platform where youths will develop their talents
“Our goal is to provide a platform for young footballers to develop their skills, build their confidence, and showcase their talents. We are committed to promoting grassroots football development in Ibeju Lekki and beyond.”
He spoke of the need for companies and corporate organizations to partner with them in order to discover and develop talented youths that will later bring glory to the country in the round leather game.
“I’m using this opportunity to invite companies, corporate organizations, philanthropists and public spirited individuals to support our initiative by sponsoring our future tournaments.
“Your contributions will help us continue to provide opportunities for young footballers to grow and succeed and we look forward to welcoming you so that we can work together to promote grassroots football development and empower the next generation of football stars”, he stated.
Coach Opetunde, also commended coaches; Abudulahi of Addington FA, Balogun, Noble 5 Star FA, Àdepoju, ah Pivotal FA, Moses, Elite FA and Coach Yusuf of Panthers FA for being part of the tournament.
