ProStar Sports International Powers April/May NNL Excellence Awards, Celebrates Rising Stars of Nigerian Football
ProStar Sports International, in partnership with the Nigeria National League (NNL) and Sportlight Hub, is set to host the combined Monthly Excellence Awards for April and May 2025 on June 18 at the prestigious West Point Hotel, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
The awards, which have quickly become a hallmark of excellence in Nigeria’s second-tier football league, aim to recognize and celebrate standout players, coaches, and teams who have demonstrated exceptional performance and discipline both on and off the pitch.

This edition will feature a notable double triumph for Warri Wolves, as Coach Napoleon Aluma and goalkeeper Efevwerha Joke take home top honors for Best Coach and Best Goalkeeper respectively. Other celebrated winners include Gukut M. Chindi (Highest Goal Scorer – Edel FC), Valentine Ugwu (MVP – Solution FC), and Sokoto United (Best Behaved Team). Shamasu Mohammed of Barau FC claims the Goal of the Month title.
The event is expected to draw high-profile attendees including NFF and NNL officials, club representatives, ProStar Sports executives, and key football stakeholders, further cementing its status as a vital fixture in Nigeria’s domestic football calendar.
